Editorial Policy & Fact-Checking
Last updated 2026-04-20. This page describes how our newsroom researches, attributes, and corrects the celebrity news we publish.
Our editorial process
Every story on GetCelebrity.com is sourced from at least two independent, reputable outlets (People, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, BBC, Reuters, AP, TMZ, StarHit, 7Days and similar) before we publish. We cross-verify names, dates, quotes and locations across sources and attribute each factual claim to the originating publisher with a direct link.
Rumors, unverified sightings and single-source scoops are either held back until a second outlet confirms them, or labelled explicitly as reports rather than facts.
Fact-checking gate
Before publication, every article runs through an automated three-axis quality gate (SpamBrain alignment, Reader Value, Human-Likeness) and a cross-verification step that requires ≥2 independent publisher domains to confirm the same atomic fact. Articles that fail the gate are either re-written or dropped.
Use of AI — transparency
We use machine translation to make English reporting available in 22 languages. A translation is only surfaced publicly once the body text has been translated and passes a divergence check against the English original; partially-translated pages are kept out of indexes and hreflang alternates. Our authors and editors, not the translation engine, remain responsible for the reporting you read.
We do not use AI to fabricate quotes, events, people, sources, dates or photographs. AI assists editing, translation and research; final publication decisions are made by a named editor.
Authors and bylines
Every article is attributed to a single, named editor who owns the topic beat. We do not publish articles under generic “Editorial Staff” bylines when a specific editor is responsible. An editor who does not cover a beat is never credited with work outside that beat.

Corrections policy
When we discover a material error — a misstated fact, incorrect name, wrong date — we correct it on the original article and append a visible correction note at the top of the piece citing what changed and when. Spelling and formatting fixes are applied silently.
To report an error, email [email protected] with the article URL and the specific claim you dispute. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
Ethics & independence
GetCelebrity.com is editorially independent. We do not accept payment to publish, alter, or suppress news stories. Sponsored content, when published, is clearly labelled as “Sponsored” and kept separate from editorial feeds.
We do not use fake reviews, fake ratings, or fabricated testimonials. Any aggregateRating structured-data on the site points to genuine user-submitted reviews; we never inflate ratings for SEO.
Diversity & sourcing
Our reporting reflects the international nature of celebrity culture: we cover the British monarchy alongside Hollywood, Latin music alongside K-pop, and regional entertainment beats that mainstream English-language outlets under-serve. We source Russian-language stories from domestic outlets (7Days, StarHit, KP) rather than re-translating English coverage.
