Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova has finally broken her silence regarding rumors of her romance with married businessman Artyom Chechikhin. The athlete, who is now 24 years old, does not like to publicize her personal life, but in recent months her Instagram has been filled with photos of huge bouquets and balloons, which, of course, fuels public interest.

Journalists have long attributed a relationship with Artyom, the son of producer Yuri Chechikhin, to Zagitova. Alina was in no hurry to either confirm or deny these conjectures, although she regularly demonstrated expensive gifts from a certain chosen one on social networks. At VK Fest, the figure skater once again cleverly avoided a direct question about her boyfriend. She stated briefly and clearly: "I'll put it this way: personal is not public." Many immediately concluded: if she didn't deny it, then it's all true.

Such secrecy from Zagitova raises questions, especially against the backdrop of information that Chechikhin is officially married. These rumors appeared thanks to publications by Artyom's wife. Under one of the photos of Chechikhin's wife, a comment appeared: "This is Zagitova's man." The girl responded harshly: "It's not the first time she's messed with married men." However, she later closed her account to comments and did not speak on the topic again.

Alina herself, although she does not name names, stopped hiding that her heart is taken several months ago. In May, she posted a photo from Disneyland, where she is sitting on a young man's shoulders, but only showed him from the back, captioning it: "We don't publicize, but we don't hide either." Later, fans figured out that her companion was indeed Artyom Chechikhin.

Zagitova has always preferred to keep her personal life away from prying eyes. A few years ago, she said: "I usually never talk about my personal life. I think it will just come naturally. Perhaps my heart is already taken." Apparently, her opinion has not changed. And this is not surprising, because haters are always ready to tear apart any celebrity, should they only be given a reason.

Previously, Zagitova was rumored to have romances with various sports stars, such as Kirill Kaprizov and Dmitry Voronkov. And after she appeared at an event with Egor Krid, journalists immediately "married" them, writing about an impending wedding. Alina responded to all these rumors with only a smile.
