29-year-old figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva encountered police inaction when she tried to stop a stalker pursuing her. Law enforcement officers refused to help the athlete, stating that "if it's just flowers and postcards, meaning this person doesn't pose any specific threat, then it's unlikely anything can be done."

Tuktamysheva published messages from the obsessive fan, in which he openly states that he will not back down. Among them are notes that the stalker leaves at her door. In one of them, he writes: "Lizok, I still don't believe it. You know what I'm talking about. Great performance in Mongolia. I love you, hope to see you soon. See you soon, you are smart and beautiful."

In another note, the stalker addresses the figure skater: "Hi, Lizok! I know you're not in St. Petersburg right now. I'm tired of playing these games. For a year and a half, I've been trying to invite you to get to know each other better. Of course, I continue to play these games, but it's not serious, baby. Your fake social media pages are easy to track down. Maybe let's get serious already?! Can you meet me or get rid of me? You are beautiful and smart."

According to Tuktamysheva, the stalking has long gone beyond what is permissible. The man leaves flowers and postcards at her front door, walks around the house, waiting for her to arrive. The athlete noted that she is lucky with the security in her residential complex, which, although not obliged to stand up for her, always provides support.

Recall that the stalker began pursuing Tuktamysheva last winter. He met her after a show, asked for an autograph, and invited her for coffee. After the figure skater refused, the man began to pursue her at her apartment and at her parents' apartment. Earlier, Tuktamysheva spoke out in support of the domestic violence law.

By the way, in February of this year, rumors appeared about a romance between Tuktamysheva and figure skater Petr Gumennik, a participant in the 2026 Olympics. In May, the athlete confirmed their relationship by posting a joint photo on Instagram.
