There's a new addition to the family of comedian Garik Kharlamov and actress Katerina Kovalchuk! The couple has become parents. The joyful news was announced by the comedian's colleagues Azamat Musagaliev and Denis Dorokhov in a fresh episode of the show "Kstati".

"Today it happened. Garik isn't here, but today there's a good reason for it. Our Garik is becoming a dad right now. Congratulations to the Kharlamov family," Musagaliev stated. Dorokhov immediately chimed in: "He's not at the beginning of the journey. This is already a nine-month result."

For 45-year-old Kharlamov, this is his second child. He has a 12-year-old daughter Anastasia from his marriage to actress Kristina Asmus, from whom they divorced in 2020. Despite the separation, Garik actively participates in his daughter's upbringing.

Garik Kharlamov and Katerina Kovalchuk began dating in 2021, and in the summer of 2024, they got married. The actress previously admitted that she had pursued a relationship with Kharlamov for five years and was happy that they managed to create a family. She had long dreamed of becoming a mother.

Kharlamov's colleagues also warned that the upcoming episodes of the show "Kstati" would be "a bit chaotic."
