Jordon Hudson is reportedly back on the dating scene following her quiet split from former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. Sources close to the 25-year-old former beauty queen revealed on Friday, October 30, that Hudson is "seeing other people" after she and Belichick, 74, broke up last year. The insiders did not have information on her current relationship status.
Neither the current UNC football coach nor the adult cheerleader have publicly addressed their often-scrutinized age-gap relationship. However, sources told TMZ that the former couple remains "committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends."
Their breakup was so discreet that even some of Belichick's colleagues at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill were unaware. Two anonymous staffers in the UNC football office confirmed to USA Today Sports on Friday, October 30, that they were "not aware" Belichick and Hudson had parted ways. Multiple outlets, including TMZ and People, reported earlier on Friday that the pair had privately ended their relationship last year. Hudson has even been seen without her engagement ring this fall.
Belichick and Hudson first met on a flight in 2021 after the legendary NFL coach signed one of Hudson’s textbooks. Their chance encounter blossomed into a romance, leading them to often defend not only their age difference but also Hudson’s perceived involvement in Belichick’s career.
In a February 2025 Instagram post, Hudson addressed the scrutiny, writing, “Let’s take a deeper dive into the hot topic of the day: LOVE. ‘What constitutes love?’ or, ‘What makes someone worthy of loving?’ are questions that require a deep analysis and could possibly enable one to understand the romances that they may not understand nor relate to.” She continued, “Love does not look the same every time you see it. People and relationships, like everything else, are impermanent; even though love is eternal. Love is not to be judged. It is never OK to harass or abuse a person based upon who they love.”
Amid speculation that Hudson was influencing Belichick’s decisions behind the scenes, Belichick, 73, who was named head football coach at UNC in December 2024, clarified her role. During a Tuesday, May 13 interview on ESPN’s SportsCenter with Christine Williamson, Belichick described Hudson as more of a day-to-day assistant than someone deeply integrated into his professional life. He explained in a September interview with the Wall Street Journal, “When I took the job [at UNC] it was December, and at that time I was doing five TV shows, the radio show, I had a book coming out. I had a lot of other things going on when I took the job. I sent an email when I got here and I said, ‘Can you please forward any requests to Jordon about my personal appearances so that I can work and coordinate them outside the university?’ He added, “Didn’t have anything to do with the university. Well, that was leaked [and] released as ‘Jordon’s involved in every single thing that I do and she’s copied on every email.’ That’s just a flat-out lie.”
