The couple, who have been together for more than a decade and are raising two sons — 23-year-old Matvey and 16-year-old Makar — renewed their vows. The ceremony took place aboard the Astoria Grande liner, where the ship's captain blessed their union. It is noteworthy that the Makarevich family already had experience with unusual relationships: several years ago, the spouses filed for divorce but continued to live together.

Nastya Makarevich admitted that an inner feeling prompted her to take a wedding dress with her on the trip, although she had no idea about her husband's plans. "Actually, this year we have our silver wedding anniversary. I didn't know that Zhenya had prepared such a surprise — that he would propose. But for some reason, I took a wedding dress with me. So now we will celebrate two anniversaries — in April, when the first wedding was, and in July. By the way, our church wedding was also by the sea. The children don't know about our wedding yet; when we return, we'll have a big celebration. We are generally lovers of celebrations, and we are thinking about a tradition — to have weddings more often," Makarevich shared.

Upon returning from the cruise, the couple plans to hold a lavish celebration for their sons. Evgeny Pershin, a lawyer by profession, confirmed that a wedding performed by the captain on a ship has legal force.
