Petersburg was always a city facing the water. For over ten years, the yacht company BAGATTA, led by Alexey Evsin, has been offering a view of the Northern Capital from precisely the side from which it looks particularly flawless.
There are cities that are customary to view from the sidewalk. Petersburg was conceived differently. Its true ceremonial entrance is on the water: where the granite embankments stretch into a strict line, the gold of the spires is reflected in the Neva, and the palace facades appear one after another, like stage sets for a play staged exclusively for a few spectators. It is from this perspective that the city reveals itself from a yacht – without the usual bustle, car horns, and crowded embankments. Here, not only the angle changes, but also the very perception of time: Petersburg becomes quieter, closer, and noticeably more beautiful.
For over ten years, this special geography of the city has been developed by the yacht company BAGATTA, founded by Alexey Evsin. Its collection includes the yachts ECLIPSE and HERMES, as well as the motorboat VELVETTE.
"For me, true luxury is not in ostentation, but in the ability to choose the best view, the right distance, and a few hours that belong only to you. Petersburg does not need new decorations: sometimes it is enough to simply move away from the shore to see how perfectly it is already designed," says Alexey Evsin.
Over the years of BAGATTA's operation, a Neva River cruise has transformed from a seasonal pastime into an independent St. Petersburg ritual – as natural as a late dinner after a premiere, a sleepless White Night, or a glass of champagne under a raised bridge.
