Valeria Chekalina, known as Lerchek, has once again found herself in a hospital bed. Her beloved, Argentine dancer Luis Scquicciarini, reported alarming news about the blogger's condition: doctors still cannot establish the cause of the severe back and leg pains that torment Chekalina.

In footage published on social media, Lerchek appeared without her usual wig, noticeably thinner and pale. Nevertheless, she maintains a cheerful disposition. "I know you are worried and praying. Thank you all very much! I know everything will be fine," the blogger addressed her subscribers.

Scquicciarini said that the pains began in early September and were "hellish." Despite CT and MRI scans of the lumbar and sacral regions, the source of the discomfort has not been identified. "We are doing tests, X-rays, CTs, and MRIs. Unfortunately, doctors still don't understand what's wrong with her health. I hope we find the cause soon. Tomorrow we are going back to the hospital," Luis shared the day before.

Recall that in February 2026, after the birth of her fourth child, Chekalina was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer with metastases in her spine, legs, and lungs. She underwent nine courses of chemotherapy, and treatment continues: she faces lifelong targeted therapy every three weeks and immunotherapy every two weeks. Valeria is at the Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology.

In addition to health problems, Chekalina faces serious legal difficulties. On July 31, 2026, the Gagarinsky Court of Moscow sentenced her to five years of probation and a fine of over 763 million rubles in a case concerning the illegal withdrawal of funds abroad. The investigation established that Chekalina, together with her ex-husband Artyom and a business partner, withdrew about 250 million rubles to accounts in the UAE. The prosecution appealed the verdict, insisting on a stricter sentence of up to 6 years of probation and an increase in the fine to 1.2 billion rubles. Chekalina herself does not admit guilt and has also filed an appeal.
