Anne Hathaway, the 43-year-old star, has revealed she is expecting her third child. The actress, who was promoting a project less than two months ago, shared the news on Friday with a post featuring her in an all-white ensemble. In the video, set to Barbara Lewis’s “Baby I’m Yours,” Hathaway walks into frame with arms crossed, then drops them to reveal a baby bump protruding through a cutaway in her outfit. She smiles, caresses her belly, and then exits the frame. The brief caption reads: “x Baby, I’m yours x.” Hathaway was photographed on June 1, 2026, in New York City by XNY/Star Max.

Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman, have been married since 2012 and are already parents to Jonathan, born in 2016, and Jack, born in 2019. The couple has maintained a private family life away from Hollywood while continuing their careers. In a recent interview last month, Hathaway shared that her children are "in this really fun zone where we all love hanging out together, which I understand may change.” She elaborated, “Well, we will always love hanging out with them, but their feelings about us might change. So for the moment, we’re all just in it. Adam and I are soaking it up. I’m having the most wonderful time with my family, living in the city of my dreams, and work seems to be going really, really well … So rather obnoxiously, I’m having a great time as everything else burns.”

This pregnancy also coincides with the upcoming release of Christopher Nolan's film, where Hathaway plays Queen Penelope, the wife of Odysseus. The film is set to be released in the US on July 17. Hathaway reflected on her role to Elle, stating, “In a time when so many marriages were made for political convenience, the two of them chose each other, and they understood what they had and that not everybody gets that.” She added, “My whole thing about marriage is…it’s such a big deal to share your life with someone…And so to find someone who inspires you to say, ‘As great as this is on my own, sharing it with you feels like it could lead to somewhere even better,’” trailing off. “I imagine that actually is rare, and I do feel like I found that and I don’t take it for granted.” Anne Hathaway was also seen with Amy Adams, Anna Wintour, and Emily Blunt at the Louis Vuitton 2027 Cruise Collection Show on May 20, 2026, in New York City, as captured by Lexie Moreland/Getty Images.
