Elon Musk

Elon Reeve Musk (born June 28, 1971) is a South African-born American entrepreneur and businessman. Born in Pretoria, South Africa, he immigrated to Canada at age 17 and later became a U.S. citizen. Musk demonstrated an early aptitude for computers and programming, selling his first video game code at age 12. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning degrees in physics and economics.

Musk co-founded the online payment company X.com in 1999, which later became PayPal. In 2002, he founded SpaceX, a space exploration company, where he currently serves as CEO and CTO. In 2003, he co-founded Tesla, Inc., an electric vehicle and clean energy company, where he is the CEO and product architect.

Musk's notable achievements include leading SpaceX to become the first private company to successfully launch, orbit, and recover a spacecraft, as well as developing the Falcon series of rockets and the Dragon spacecraft. At Tesla, he has overseen the development and production of electric vehicles like the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y, contributing to the growth of the electric vehicle market. He has also been involved in other ventures such as Neuralink, focusing on brain-machine interfaces, and The Boring Company, which aims to reduce traffic congestion through tunnel construction.
