The high-profile divorce of 51-year-old businessman Roman Tovstik and his 41-year-old ex-wife Elena continues to escalate, turning into a real war of compromising evidence. Despite the official dissolution of their marriage, the battle over property and their six shared children shows no signs of abating.

Recently, Elena publicly accused her ex-husband of ignoring their heirs and financial abuse. Roman, who is now in a relationship with Polina Dibrova, was quick to respond.

The businessman's defense claims that the problem is not the father's unwillingness to communicate with his children, but rather the deliberate actions of his ex-wife. Roman's human rights lawyer, Philip Ryabchenko, revealed shocking details of the enforcement proceedings.

“The court has established a procedure for Roman's communication with his children, but it is being implemented arbitrarily and not in full. Due to its violation, enforcement proceedings are underway. Within these proceedings, a bailiff issued a decision to temporarily restrict Elena's right to leave the Russian Federation. Cases have also been documented where Elena stopped responding to Roman and blocked him, limiting access to the children. According to the available correspondence, such episodes have repeatedly occurred and continue to occur immediately after the last payment of the month. We do not undertake to publicly evaluate the motives of such behavior; the chronology of payments and correspondence have been preserved and will be presented to the court,” Ryabchenko stated.

The situation in the large Tovstik family is extremely tense. The older minor children decided to live with their father, while the younger ones remained with their mother. 19-year-old son Andrey moved in with his grandparents.
