Millie Bobby Brown's newest arrival has officially debuted on Instagram. The "Stranger Things" star and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, posted a photo on September 17, 2026, at 8:23 p.m. ET, showing their hands cradling the hand of their second child. "hi little guy!" they captioned the image, seemingly confirming the birth of a son.
This photo appeared just hours after the news broke that the couple had welcomed another child via adoption. Brown, 22, and Bongiovi, 24, previously adopted their first child, a baby girl, in August 2025. At the time, they released a joint statement saying, "This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy." They concluded that announcement with, "And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi."
Representatives for the couple have not yet responded to requests for comment. Speculation about a second child began earlier this month when Brown shared a series of photos and videos from a family trip to the Dolomites, an Italian mountain range. In one clip, Brown was seen holding their daughter while Bongiovi wore a baby carrier as they walked with animals.
The couple has largely kept their daughter out of the public eye, refraining from sharing her name or showing her face. Despite this, fans have speculated about the baby's name, with many suggesting "Daisy" in honor of Brown's grandmother after she wore a necklace with that name in a May Instagram post.
Brown, who has addressed public commentary about becoming a young mother, explained her decision to protect her daughter's privacy in a November 2025 interview with British Vogue. "For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself," the "Enola Holmes" actress stated. She added, "It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support."
Brown and Bongiovi, son of legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi, started dating in 2021 and got engaged in 2023. They married in 2024, first with a "low-key" ceremony in the Hamptons, followed by a larger celebration later that year.
