88-year-old Lidiya Fedoseeva-Shukshina has fallen into a coma. The People's Artist's condition is assessed as severe, doctors are fighting for her life in intensive care.

The actress is in a medically induced coma and connected to a ventilator. Fedoseeva-Shukshina's heart is working irregularly, and lung problems have begun: accumulated air was removed with drainage. There is a serious risk of developing pneumonia. Lidiya Nikolaevna has already spent ten days in intensive care.

Before hospitalization, the actress experienced increasing shortness of breath and swelling for a week, but she did not seek medical attention. An ambulance was called when Fedoseeva-Shukshina began to suffocate and lost the ability to walk independently.

In recent years, Lidiya Nikolaevna has frequently been hospitalized due to heart problems and also suffers from dementia. Her daughter Olga Shukshina provides her care. Just recently, Olga Vasilievna reported that her mother's condition was stable and had even improved, despite being in intensive care.

Relations between Lidiya Fedoseeva-Shukshina's daughters, Olga and Maria, remain strained. The actress herself has repeatedly expressed regret about their quarrel. "I can't remember what happened, how the quarrel occurred... They had such love! It was such a joy to watch them, to live for them. And now neither one nor the other will meet each other halfway. Masha doesn't answer the phone, doesn't want to talk. In general, it's all difficult for me. I have lived a difficult but wonderful life. Wonderful people were by my side, I love everyone very much. But I just can't unite my girls. I don't know how to do it, I would do anything... How much longer I have to live, God knows. Today I am here, and tomorrow, perhaps, I will fall asleep and not wake up," the actress lamented shortly before her current hospitalization.
