Selena Gomez offered a playful tribute to her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The 34-year-old star, stunning in a red-hot dress and satin high heels at the 2026 Rare Impact Fund Benefit, posted a TikTok video lip-syncing to the Jonas Brothers’ 2008 hit “Burnin’ Up.”

In the clip, Gomez showcased her elegant attire while mouthing Nick’s memorable “red dress” line from the song. She captioned the video, “Feeling nostalgic.” While the Jonas Brothers, including Kevin and Joe, have not confirmed the inspiration behind the track, Gomez herself appeared in the music video as Nick’s on-screen love interest.

The song’s release in 2008 coincided with the beginning of Nick, now 34, and Gomez’s relationship. The pair, both around 15 at the time, met through their Disney Channel work. Gomez starred as Alex Russo in “Wizards of Waverly Place” from 2007 to 2012, while Nick worked on the 2008 film “Camp Rock” and the series “Jonas” from 2009 to 2010.

Their on-again, off-again romance concluded in 2010, but they appear to have remained on good terms. Gomez has previously spoken fondly of their past, stating, “We were babies! We actually caught up the other day and it’s really fun to be able to do that. That, to me, was like puppy love. It was very sweet. He’s lovely. I do have a love for him for sure.”
