Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa, born in London, England, on August 22, 1995, is a British singer, songwriter, model, fashion designer, actor, podcaster, and composer. Her parents are Albanian immigrants from Kosovo. Lipa's early life included attending Sylvia Young Theatre School part-time before moving to Kosovo with her family. At 15, she returned to London to pursue a music career, working as a model while uploading songs to YouTube.

Lipa signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014 and released her self-titled debut album in 2017, which spawned hits like "Be the One," "New Rules," and "IDGAF." Her second album, "Future Nostalgia" (2020), achieved critical acclaim and commercial success, featuring the singles "Don't Start Now," "Physical," and "Levitating." Lipa has won three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist in 2019 and Best Pop Vocal Album for "Future Nostalgia" in 2021. She has also received numerous Brit Awards, including British Female Solo Artist. Beyond music, Lipa has ventured into acting, making her debut in the film "Barbie" (2023), and hosts the podcast "Dua Lipa: At Your Service."
