Amy Schumer is embracing her body while on a weight loss journey, sharing that she "never knew there would be days like this." The 45-year-old comedian showcased her figure in unfiltered photos posted August 1, donning a floral bikini top and cream bottoms on a yacht. She completed her summer look with tinted sunglasses, and in one shot, accessorized with a green-printed robe.

Schumer, who shares a 7-year-old with ex-husband Chris Fischer, was all smiles in another image, wearing a wetsuit over a blue one-piece with the sparkling ocean as a backdrop. She also shared pictures of herself scuba diving, indicating an adventurous trip.

The "I Feel Pretty" star has been open about the ups and downs of her weight loss journey. She previously revealed that she decided to make a change after being diagnosed with Cushing syndrome in 2024, a hormonal condition that can be fatal if untreated. "I didn’t lose 30lbs, I lost 50," Schumer wrote. "Not to look hot which does feel fun and temporary. I did it to survive. I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy and can kill you but the internet caught it and that disease has cleared."

She added, "Sorry for whatever feeling it’s giving you that I lost weight. I’ve had plastic surgery over the years and I use Mounjaro." While the type 2 diabetes medication, also prescribed for weight loss, proved effective, Schumer's past experiences with similar drugs were not. In a since-deleted March 2025 Instagram video, she explained, "Three years ago, I tried Wegovy. I was puking, I couldn’t handle it."

After consulting another doctor, Schumer found a suitable treatment. She also shared that she was prescribed estrogen and progesterone, which helped with her perimenopause symptoms. "My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex. So that’s been great and Mounjaro’s been great," she stated.
