Becca Tilley recently shared the pivotal moment she realized Hayley Kiyoko was her "forever person." While attending T-Mobile’s T-Mix House in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 5, Tilley, 38, revealed an exclusive story. "She did not grow up religious at all, and I did grow up religious, and I was talking about looking for a church," Tilley explained. "Then she surprised me one day. She just told me we were going on a date. We pulled up, and she had brought me to a church. She was like, ‘Oh, I thought you’d want to try this church.’"

The former Bachelor contestant continued, "I just remember being like, ‘Wow, someone that cares so much about something that really wasn’t part of their life. It was just all for me.’ I was like, ‘She’s The One.’" Tilley and Kiyoko, 35, kept their relationship private for nearly four years before going public in May 2022 when Tilley appeared in Kiyoko’s music video for "For the Girls."

The couple's journey continued with Kiyoko proposing in July 2025 during a trip to Spain. Tilley returned the gesture five months later, popping the question to Kiyoko in Japan. Tilley gushed, "I knew she was my forever person pretty much from when we met."

While wedding plans are not being rushed, both agree they cannot get married in humidity "because we are the worst versions of ourselves." Tilley, cohost of iHeartRadio’s "Real Tawk" podcast, is keeping an open mind about her wedding dress. "It’s not a lie," she said. "Everyone says you’ll go and you might pick something you totally never expected to love, so I’m keeping a very open mind with that."

Tilley cherishes the ordinary moments with Kiyoko that often feel extraordinary. Celebrating the launch of T-Mobile’s new customizable wireless plans, Tilley praised Pandora's involvement. "Haley and I went on a trip recently, and I always like to drive. She’s the passenger princess," Becca recalled. "We were driving, and she fell asleep, and then she woke up, and I was singing. She’s like, ‘I love how much you love music.’ And so the fact that Pandora is an option for the T-Mix plan is so fun because nothing is better than picking out a favorite song and then having Pandora automatically choose what comes next and it being another favorite song."

Kiyoko's new novel, Where There’s Room For Us, set in 1880s Victorian England, was inspired by the early days of her relationship with Tilley, whom she began dating in 2018. As fans await wedding updates, Tilley is grateful for more unforgettable memories with her partner. She envisions the feeling of becoming a wife as "when you come home after a long day, and you’re so happy to be home. There’s that feeling of like, I’m finally home. … It’s just a sigh of relief. This is what I hoped for, and it’s all I ever wanted."
