Another wave of criticism has fallen upon the popular show "Battle of Psychics" after statements by an influential media manager. His words, spoken on the podcast "Path to the Top with Olesya Nagornaya," coincided with the opinions of many project critics.

Alexander Zharov, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding JSC, had previously torn apart the mystical show, calling its participants "artists who earn money in different ways." He also hinted at unsavory speculation on the part of the producers. "No Shepses will help you in the moment. But people watch the show and think: 'It worked for them, it will work for me too. These are like fast carbohydrates,'" Zharov stated, publicly exposing the project.

Alexander Zharov's statement angered clairvoyant Kazhetta Akhmetzhanova. The finalist of the sixth season believes that such attacks devalue her work. The shaman recalled that in the project "Battle of Psychics. Psychics Investigate," she and her colleagues genuinely helped many people.

At the same time, Kazhetta does not hide the bitter truth: in recent years, the show's creators have increasingly focused on hype, ignoring real talents. According to her, when the project first appeared on TV, viewers watched not actors, but professional magicians, necromancers, and clairvoyants with a capital letter.

"In the first seasons, everything was real. Participants tried to surprise, and TV people tried to show the truth... You know, before that, everything started well, and then these projects were spoiled. You can't humiliate human talent like that. After all, extrasensory perception is also like a beautiful voice, your intuition. It's like beautiful poetry. And people in this case describe someone's fate with their intuition. In general, in ancient times, such people were considered holy fools. They came to Ivan the Terrible and asked: 'Why did you do that to Kazan?' And Ivan the Terrible did not touch them. He was afraid of their curses. In Rus', there was always shamanism, extrasensory perception, healing, cosmic energy," Akhmetzhanova said.
