Nelli Uvarova, star of the TV series "Ne Rodis Krasivoy," has legally collected alimony from her husband, actor Alexander Grishin. The couple is not officially divorced.
Uvarova filed a lawsuit in September. She demanded alimony for the support of her two children from her de facto spouse, Alexander Grishin.
Several years ago, Nelli already complained about problems in her relationship with her second husband. She admitted that Grishin had ceased to be an authority for her. "Our profession is ambitious. It's so hard to maintain yourself, to be independent of the opinion of a person you've trusted for years. And when that person speaks out, you fall, you crumble, and then you realize: it means nothing anymore, because he hasn't been an authority for you for a long time, he's been lying to himself for a long time! It's hard, it's hard," the actress said, noting that her family life was in a "lull" phase.
It seems that the former love and trust never returned to this union. The couple's inner circle confirms: Uvarova and Grishin's marriage has run its course. They have been living separately for a long time, and do not wear wedding rings. Even at RAMT, where both actors continue to serve, the spouses try to intersect minimally and no longer perform in the same plays. However, they are not in a hurry to officially divorce. Since they have two minor children together, dissolving the marriage is only possible through court.
It seems Alexander stopped financially assisting Nelli with their 15-year-old daughter Iya and 10-year-old son Ignatiy. In addition, Uvarova faced serious health problems: it was reported that the artist partially lost her sight and hearing.
To hold her de facto husband accountable, Uvarova chose a peaceful path — she filed an application for a court order, rather than a full lawsuit. She needed to prove that Grishin was not fully providing for their common children.
The magistrate satisfied Nelli's demands, and the court order came into force a couple of weeks ago. Now, if financial support is absent, the 46-year-old actress will be able to contact bailiffs and collect funds according to the law. Grishin will have to transfer 1/3 of his income for his son and daughter.
Uvarova's children are also passionate about art. Iya participated in several RAMT productions and appeared on stage with her parents. Her brother is interested in music and drawing.
