Vakhtang, a jury member of the new season of the show "Nu-ka, vse vmeste!" on the "Russia" TV channel, spoke frankly about the project, his colleagues, and his personal life. The musician, who added brutality to the hundred, shared his impressions on October 1, 2026.
The artist admitted that it's impossible to single out any one participant, as they are all talented. He emphasized that the competition is subjective, since creativity cannot be evaluated unambiguously. Vakhtang called "Nu-ka, vse vmeste!" a brilliant project that opens up opportunities for artists.
According to Vakhtang, over eight seasons, the project's bar has significantly risen. He believes that performing a well-known hit in one's own style is still preferable to an unknown composition. With a hit, one must be impeccable and add their own twist, otherwise the original will seem better. With an unknown song, he said, a huge amount of work needs to be done for it to sound new to listeners.
Speaking about Sergey Lazarev, the leader of the hundred, Vakhtang called him brilliant in diligence and skills. He noted that Lazarev has developed his abilities so much that it is impossible for anyone from the hundred to approach him. The artist said that colleagues sometimes discuss how interesting it would be to live a week on his schedule, but no one would endure it. Vakhtang admitted that he had not been to Lazarev's solo concert, but heard that he doesn't sing a single false note. In his opinion, Sergey is emotional and can be sharp, but it's not out of malice – he protects young participants so that their wings are not clipped. Vakhtang understands and loves Lazarev for this.
Vakhtang stated that he doesn't like to quarrel. He gave an example of a situation when his friend Brandon Stone was the only one who didn't stand up during one of the performances. Then Vakhtang asked him what it's like when 99 people stood up and you're sitting alone. He is sure that such an act requires a very good reason, otherwise "Sergey will most likely destroy" (jokingly, of course).
Vakhtang doesn't like to talk about his personal life, adhering to the principle "happiness loves silence." However, he briefly reported that his heart is taken.
Among numerous duets, Vakhtang could not single out anyone, calling everyone wonderful people and musicians. He mentioned Soso Pavliashvili and Brandon Stone, whom he called his brother.
The artist admitted that he is always dissatisfied with his appearance and struggles with excess weight. He loves sports, but now he does it less due to a busy performance schedule.
Vakhtang spent the summer combining relaxation with work. He visited Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Panama on a liner, where he performed and rested at the same time, calling it an unforgettable journey.
