The 1975's frontman Matty Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel have officially tied the knot in Los Angeles. Among the star-studded guests was Matty's mother, Loose Women star Denise Welch.

The couple, who became engaged in June 2024 after nine months of dating, exchanged vows over the weekend in a star-studded ceremony at Castillo del Lago, a residence once owned by Madonna. A statement from their representatives confirmed: "Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel were married yesterday at a private ceremony in Los Angeles, attended by their family and close friends."

Matty, 37, and Gabbriette, 28, were first linked months after Matty's brief relationship with Taylor Swift in 2023. Swift herself recently married Travis Kelce in a large New York City wedding.

Before walking down the aisle, Matty celebrated his stag do by performing with a The 1975 tribute band he hired for the party, with videos circulating online showing him singing onstage. Gabbriette's Las Vegas hen-do included snaps of her being handcuffed and carried onto a plane by a man dressed as a police officer while she sported a vintage white Chanel tweed skirt suit, matching bag, and heels. Gabbriette is also known as the lead vocalist and songwriter for the punk rock band Nasty Cherry, formed by Charli XCX, whose husband George Daniel is The 1975's drummer.
