Yesterday, August 4, Timur Rodriguez was unable to attend the court hearing at the Moscow City Court, where he intended to dispute the amount of alimony for his sons Miguel and Daniel from his ex-wife Anna Devochkina. The reason was trivial – he forgot his passport at home. The bailiffs, although they recognized the artist, did not allow him into the courtroom without documents.

The showman's lawyers had to answer for their client, providing all the necessary papers: bank statements, income data from performances, and tax declarations. The defense attorneys for both sides requested that the process be closed to avoid the leakage of personal data, but the court refused. This may be related to the scandal that erupted in the previous instance after publications in the media.

Recall that earlier, the court of first instance refused Rodriguez's request to reduce alimony. According to the agreement concluded before the official divorce, Timur is obliged to pay Anna Devochkina 1.5 million rubles for the maintenance of their sons. At the same time, Rodriguez's income has significantly decreased in recent years. The court, however, took into account the high cost of living in Spain, where the ex-wife and children moved several years ago: only the apartment rent in Madrid costs Devochkina 6.5 thousand euros monthly. The judge of the Presnensky court also stated that moving to Moscow "would worsen the accustomed standard of living" of the boys, and reacted negatively to Rodriguez's desire to transfer the children from business class to economy during flights, unequivocally noting: "You yourselves accustomed them to this."

At yesterday's hearing, Rodriguez planned to prove that if they returned to Russia, his children's standard of living would not worsen, and he was ready to do everything possible for this. However, due to the absence of his passport, he was unable to do so. The process was postponed until August 20.

Meanwhile, Anna Devochkina has already initiated enforcement proceedings to collect 7 million rubles of alimony debt from the artist. Orders regarding the debt rained down on Rodriguez right on the day of his wedding to Katya Kabak. Devochkina also tried to ban her ex-husband from traveling abroad, which would effectively hinder the father's communication with his sons, but this request was denied.
