Stassi Schroeder's Husband Beau Clark Reveals Their Marriage Troubles Due to Resentment"
Beau Clark, husband of Stassi Schroeder for six years, opened up about feeling "unworthy" in their marriage on the July 29 premiere of House of Stassi. Clark, 46, a former casting director who became a public figure after his relationship with Schroeder on Vanderpump Rules, admitted to "shoving down" concerns about their marriage during the episode.
He told Taylor Strecker, Schroeder's podcast cohost on Stassi with Tay, that he's "trying to balance wanting her to have her space and to be able to not stress out when she’s working. But then also, I’m sitting here, and I’m angry and resentful.”
A major point of contention for Clark is that Schroeder launched her podcasting career after being fired from VPR in 2020. Meanwhile, Clark, who shares children Hartford Charlie Rose Clark, 5, and Messer Rhys Clark, 2, with the New Orleans native, has taken on a more supportive role at home, putting his own career on the back burner. Clark explained, “I’m trying not to stress out Stassi. She’s got the show going on and she has her podcast. She’s got brand deals and hopefully at some point, I’ll be able to find the words to just have a chat.”
Holding back his marital woes has left Clark feeling "detached." The Los Angeles Rams superfan divulged, “It’s like we’re roommates. I don't feel worthy.” He candidly expressed his feelings to Schroeder during an emotional conversation about their home life, stating, “I just literally just feel like a 1950s housewife where I have my apron on. I’m cleaning everything while feeding the kids.”
Schroeder, for her part, expressed gratitude to Clark for "being with me in the thick of it every day for the last five years." However, the 38-year-old has also voiced her own concerns previously. During a vacation at Vanderpump Villa, Schroeder took issue with Clark's relationship with his sister, Georgia Bardetti, particularly their matching tattoos of each other's names. In a 2025 episode, Schroeder confessed, "Beau has a habit of putting his sister Georgia’s needs before anyone else’s, including his wife’s," a habit she called “f--king weird.”
